Founded under the visionary leadership of Shri Sanjay Anandrao Ghatge, fondly known as Sanjaybaba, the factory is the proud outcome of the faith and contributions of more than 10,000 shareholder farmers, primarily sugarcane growers from this region.
Sanjaybaba, a respected farmer leader and former MLA of the Kagal constituency, has dedicated over four decades to the cause of farmer welfare. Guided by his vision, the factory began operations in the 2020–2021 season with a crushing capacity of 2000 TCD.
